If he goes to Vancouver, he can eat my balls. I hate them more than the Penguins. But in saying that, i'd like to see him go to Edmonton. Their D is terrible past Whitney, Smid and Nick Schultz. -
either way, it's pretty cool and i wish the camp was on tv so we could watch all the Wings' prospects. If anyone gets any sort of feed i hope it ends up linked here.

i didn't really care about the Drake signing. i was more or less indifferent on that. Shane Doan is a huge ******. and you want to talk about babies, look at the Coyotes exit from the playoffs and the example Doan set. Point being, i do not like him whatsoever and i do not want him to be a Wing. Never liked him even his first year as a Winnipeg Jet watching him here and i never will like him, even if for some reason Kenny signs him. He's more a Penguin than a Red Wing.

Do you think for even a second that Babcock would like Semin? Kenny probably put that into consideration after the last 3 years of crap and waiting for good pickups after the cup win. Good to see Garrison on the list. He's got a mean clapper, and unlike friendly giant Ericsson, he uses it. Brendan Morrison = Danny Cleary. Not really what we need right now, unless Naslund signs too lol. -
1 year and not at the suggested above 3.5mil, something in the 1.5-2 range and make him earn a re-sign the next season.

I feel bad for Bobby Ryan. He's a 30 goal per year guy and that's the treatment he gets from the Ducks' organization... It's not like he's Franzen and floats his way to 30 goals cause he's bored and has the ability to get over 40. Ryan's compete level is higher and hopefully he goes to a team that actually wants him.

Chris Mason seems like a pretty good option to me with the Jets having Pavelec signed and Gustafsson in the mix now. -
Agreed here. and i don't believe he was snubbed. look at the 4 that get in. Shanny has 3 cups, but Sundin's PPG ratio is higher.... Personally i'd put Shanny in over Sundin for his all around accomplishment of being a big part of 3 cups, but Sundin didn't have Shanny's supporting cast. In the end, he'll be in soon enough and worst case scenario, he gets in with Lids.

Agreed. Don't need his poop penalties and his attitude problem. Try with Babcock what he did with Tippett and he'll be on a 1-way bus ride to GR until he's traded. -
And that's why i don't want that piece of garbage here, or that lazy sack of poop Semin. too many *'s in my posts, so i'm using words like poop now.

$10 mil is ridiculous and the media's garbage speculation on every salary could be in part a reason of the increase of people's salaries that should be multiple million less. Parise is $7 mil, 7.5 max and that's from a huge fan of him.

So once again....how the hell did this kid go in the 4th round?? Considering the Wings didn't have a 1st round pick, Kenny impressed big time at the draft with the picks and you gotta give kudos to the scouts for giving him a nice list of steals for draft day. -

Neither Leino or Brunnstrom cost the Wings any assets, nor did they have a bad cap hit. The Wings are hyping Brunner not just because he was the leading scorer in the Swiss League, but also cause he was a point per game at the world championships playing on a weaker overall team. He's exactly what Babcock wants in the top 6 for a good reasonl. -

In Detroit, you do NOT wear powder blue jerseys. That = +1 Wings. Parise #90 or 91, Suter #20, Miller #22? or something non-Lebda. And the Wings jersey are WAY cooler! Everything sounds good except for Semin. I'm still not onboard with him cause he's lazy and has an attitude problem being the "me first" type guy. He may be the best fighter in the league, but he's not what the Wings need. Parise and Prust are hard working character players with a good 2-way game. Not just a good shot and not much past 1 dimensional. Give Nyquist Hudler's spot, not Semin.

Hal Gill? Franzen's lazy ass or bump Nyquist down to make a 3rd scoring line with Helm and Bertuzzi. Or even put Brunner on the 3rd line with Helm and see what kind of havoc their speed can create.

I didn't notice that the Pens did that with Michalek. Hopefully Parise and Suter see this and decide to go to a team like the Wings that signs and actually keeps guys.

Brunner also had 7 points in 7 games playing for an inferior team in Switzerland at the WC, a world stage. He's a good player that will fit really well in the Wings system and he has something to prove in the NHL. Leino and Brunnstrom didn't do that much for their international teams. Brunnstrom's claim to fame is his 1st career NHL game he had a hat trick but hasn't done much since and Leino had a great playoff run with the flyers. You also can't assume that everyone's the same though. Brunner could be a star for the Wings. guess we'll find out when/if he signs.
