It would only take a Filpula or Franzen, considering he is only making 2.5 Million. You could probably get him for two AHLers even. I like the idea, but I don't think Kenny is looking at him for a trade. Maybe more towards the trade deadline if we're missing that piece.

The guy has cleaned up his act in recent years and is a solid 3rd or 4th liner. I don't see what the problem is. There are WAY to many flaky Wing fans on here, if you don't like the signing this much then take a hike. I hate bandwagoners more than players. The only guy I really can't stand is Crosby and I'd take him in a second!

Honestly, I like Franzen but he isn't amazing. The same could be said of Zetterberg, they both score minimaly and have WAY to big of contracts. Still if I could I wouldn't get rid of Zetterberg. I might consider Franzen though.

The way I look at this is that Columbus' GM doesn't understand how to be a hockey GM. He is apparently asking OUTRAGEOUS demands for Nash. They need the cap space and to build around somebody else. Also they need to get multiple pieces and asking for a major player or two for Nash alone is not going to happen. I'll laugh if they don't trade him and he hits free agency and goes somewhere else, then they get nothing for him. LOL. Good luck Columbus fan base.

Yeah I'm not upset at him. Must say I'm not happy he isn't gonna be a Wing, but there are much better fish in the sea. Even if they don't have a rookie contract. It was worth a shot since he would get playing time here. I guess he can go play for a team that isn't playoff ready.

It wasn't goalie interference cause Abdelkader dropped the shark onto Howard. Him and Stuart were awful today. I fear for our future if we don't get at least 2 defense men that can handle the front of the net...

Sucks for Nash even if the guy isn't my favorite hockey player. As a person, he's got to be really upset and feel like the world is crushing him. Sounds like the State of Ohio is somewhere you don't want to go to if you're an athlete. Joakim Noah made fun of the city of Cleveland, Lebron James left them for money and was ostracized. He's currently a GM for another team in the NHL. Duties and loyalties that he currently has are keeping him from it. It'd show weakness to the Lightning fans. Ugh... I hate saying that. Damn this loyalty thing.
