Kenny had to fill the soft on the boards doesn't backcheck euro floater who shoots in the goalies chest role and what better to bring back the O.G. I wouldn't mind him for 1.5m as a depth signing but this is retarded with so many better options out there. -

Even though he's a dirty player and healthy scratch for the team that knocked us out I'm somewhat content about this signing. He's got an odd likability to him and he gives us some sandpaper. -

when I heard this I was initially shocked but I thought hey at least it isn't Hudler but 3m? ntc? ... I'd rather have Jagr/Doan/Anyone but Sammy or Hudler It's like a big joke. Holland biggest troll in sports. I'm holding out hope to get blown away tomorrow. We need more than just Suter. -

Never liked him and he's done some dirty plays against us in the past. There's better and younger options out there. -
Oh please people have been saying that for 10 + years and look we won two cups and made the playoffs every season. If it makes you feel any better I'm sure losing Nick and Brad dropped the average age down a bit.and you don't "take a chance" on a 6.5mil forward.

I meant prospect(s) of course they'd want more than one. The odds are against most prospects of amounting to anything in the NHL and this will be for the most proven commodity available. The guy has scored like 30+ goals for 13 straight seasons with playmakers like Craig Conroy.Semin would be Lang 2.0 without the clutch playoff goals.

The stereotypical underachieving soft Russian player or the gritty powerfoward that's scored the most goals of the decade and is hungry for a cup? I'm gonna have to go with Iginla and throw in any prospect that isn't Smith. Iginla + Suter + Parise with Nick taking a major paycut for one more run.. a boy can dream.

decent depth signing especially for the price but we need one or two more moves to be serious contenders.

Why s*** on the Wings? At least they didn't lay down and die in game 4. Powerplay was anemic and Hudler is garbage I don't know why Flip wasn't out there instead or at least Draper/Helm for work on the boards. Hudler just floats around, can't shoot, can't stick handle, etc.
