Doesn't even look like Z or Franzen are able to play ay 70% If Z can get positioning on the player he can hold onto the puck most times but he looks slow, I understand a knee injury will do that and he doesn't want to hurt it even more. I just want Z to get as healthy as possible fast! We really need someone else who can gain the O zone like Dats.

Can we ice 3 datsyuks in the forward position for the last 40 minutes ? XD

Only Dats can dangle his way into the O zone, it looks like everyone else should have dumped and pursued.

Perhaps the wings just need to create their own retribution, kind of like in the phoenix series where Holmstrom after being repeatedly cross checked in front of Bryz time and time again and not having anything called, drew the hooking penalty by holding the stick of that coyote that ultimately led to a PP goal for us.

I think we really need Zberg back, of course depending on how he feels about his injury takes the necessary time to heal as much as he believes necessary. In games like this though when Chicago is playing their top 2 D-men (?) against Dats we need another star player to either give them hell on another line or play on Dats line so Chicago's D just can't 2 v 1 him. Don't get me wrong I am not down playing Dats 2 v 1 against skills at all, I just think he could capitalize more if Chicago's defenders had someone else to worry about as well.

Hello, Been a lurker here for many years and have just now decided to start posting. This will be my first game in at least 12 years and my first one at the RBC Center. I was raised in Michigan but was moved to NC in 2001 and I didn't discover streams to watch the games until the 2007-08 season before which I didn't keep up with the wings as much unfortunately because not living in Michigan anymore and not being able to flip the channel on the tv to the game made it hard being younger and not as computer savvy. Really excited for this game as it should be pretty intense if the wings are going to fight for the number 2 seed, as well Carolina coming out firing on all cylinders if they wish to stay in the playoff race. Anyways sorry for the background Wings win 3-1 LGW
