The only problem I have with any of those three is term. 2 years max and pay them whatever. Subban > Weber In today's NHL guys like Burns, Buff and PK are the most important players in the league Weber's great but I don't think he's even a top 10 defenseman in the league anymore. The games changed away from his style

We would have got him if our team wasn't in complete shambles. Can't blame him a lot of things would have to work out for us to be a contender in the next 2-3 years even with Stamkos

If we could sign Helm for cheap we would have a pretty deadly 4th line Miller-Glendening-Helm High end speed on all four lines

Yeah I agree Holland is going all out. All signs point to it. Also had the same approach in the Niskanenen offseason and I think we ended up resigning Quincey. No hate I have faith in holland but it will be a lot of hard work and a lot of different factors. Personally I'll be disappointed if we end up with Lucic or a different plan C. Holland will make a competitive offer and the money won't be a factor... That's all we can ask
