Pk, blocking shots, and playing defense have as much to do with winning a cup as scoring. They are all important factors that go into the final score. -
I have changed my opinion on trading flip, it would have to be a trade that blows me away. When Pavel was hurt last year he was a point per game player, not saying that he could sustain that over a course of the year but he doesn't need a super star to produce. So I would just sit on the money roll with the young guys. Worse case scenario we get a better draft pick and the young players get experience. Yes Axe needs to go away...

I will agree with you that they should have done more before now, but at the same time kindle was suppose to be the guy. Unfortunately he probably is never gonna be better than a 5 or 6 dman. But to fire holland that is outrageous even if the last few years were not his best work. Let's sit back and see his next moves. If he signs carle and says we like our team then maybe we need to start considering that it is time to bring THE captain back. -

Who says Sammy is gonna play in the top 6? And checking leads to turnovers which lead to goals. Defense leads to the opposition scoring less goals which is incredibly important to win. -

If this is the case we will add Doan or Semin maybe both, sign carle, and trade for a top 4 defenseman. Still gonna be a sweet lineup. Holland is doing a great job this off season and won't let this team fall to playoff contenders instead of cup contenders. -
