They have. It's far from a sure thing but on paper Philly is a team that a desperate Red Wings team is able to beat. Regardless how hot the Flyers are at the moment. -

It should. If we beat Toronto and Philly I'm pretty optimistic for us reaching the playoffs. And both are far from being unbeatable. -

Staal is probably well past his prime. Maybe it's just Carolina and he just need a new team, but I wouldn't bet any Red Wings asset on that slim chance. Even if, there is his 8.25 million cap hit that we somehow have to fit. And I don't see how.
