Everyone has a way to cope with the Wings being terrible. I’m just a passive aggressive Wings fan that’s projecting my anger caused by the mediocrity of the franchise at my poor fellow posters by being mean and arguing with them. In a sense I feel betrayed and cheated on by my franchise and have a guard up. The truth is I need help. I need everyone here to help me get through the tragedy of the Detroit Red Wings. Well usually people who are hardcore fans end up becoming posters on forums. When you stop becoming hardcore about it you generally don't have interest in talking about it to people outside of maybe real life or the occasional games. I think previous posters are still fans, just not as into it anymore. I mean; look at the stadium. An arena that was once packed is now 70% full this season at best. People still like the Red Wings, a lot of them just aren't as into it anymore. Detroit Pistons have this issue as well.

I think he's confusing Rasmussen with Choloskowi's story from the year before. Rasmussen was definitely a 1st round pick. The problem is the draft last year was weak. A lot of 1st rounders would usually have gone early in the 2nd year in a strong year.

If you aren't making an excuse for him then, can you agree that your context concludes that he's an inconsistent goalie. His inconsistency ends up making him an overall average goalie (or below average). And that's why Holland let him go for something. People here think Mrazek will pull a Carey Price. That "oh he's just young just wait and be patient he'll become consistence and be amazing". No. This is far from the usual young goalie getting used to the NHL. Guy has played 160+ NHL games and still not consistent yet. Wow Mrazek getting lit up. 4 goals in 23 shots. I'm legit getting annoyed. This guy needs to win 2 more games. I hope the Flyers don't bench him.

Far as I’m concerned, scoreboard says 7-6 with Mrazek in net. You could make the excuses for Mrazek if you want, but Philly sure ain’t. And my response to Philly fans is : “welcome to the inconsistent nature of what is Petr Mrazek” Has two good games then allows 9 goals in 2 games. You honestly can’t defend that performance... They were winning that game at two different points and each time Mrazek collapsed and allowed 3 goals. It was one of the worst losses for Philly all year; a game they were winning for the most part. They ain’t making the ECF like this.

You must have the wrong guy. The only non Red Wing player I like is Anze Kopitar, maybe Ovechkin. And I think Stamkos is good looking.
