Yep. Amazing what happens when you play like you want to win. I've heard people say this team over achieved under Babs the past few years. I think it's the opposite. Plenty of skill on the team, they just need the drive. I dunno why they have this problem with playing half assed hockey when they can see what they can achieve together if they actually work. -

2 goals allowed on 14 shots? Mrazek's GAA has really taken a beating lately. Wasn't he at 1.95 or something? Now it's gotta be 2.25 at the least. nice no call on that slash lol -

Yeah I remember watching him play in the OHL and I couldn't believe the Wings drafted him with where they usually pick. Figured I woulda heard a lot more about him by now as far as playing in the NHL goes, but he is a Wings prospect, and they get kept in the minors longer than on other teams. Would suck to lose him for nothing next year for sure

Must win. Like seeing the lines switched up. Some good potential there. Mrazek needs to get back on track too. Hopefully this is the night he does. I know he's mentally strong and bad games usually don't rattle him, so it had to be some kind of injury related thing. Hopefully that's behind him. -
I'm not too knowledgeable about many prospects, but I remember Sproul being damn good in junior. Never lived upo to the hype?

Richards doesn't "suck". He is past his prime, which is unfortunately when the Wings sign guys with his skills..when they are no longer effective. Just a few years ago he was in the top ten in the league in points.

The vets are too old, and the kids are too young, and there's no one in between to take care of things. That's why things need an overhaul in Detroit real soon.

The thing with people making excuses for Mrazek and not for Howard might be that Mrazek is only in his second season while Howard is the veteran big money guy. Mraz having troubles now and then while still getting established isn't as bad as Jimmy taking half a season off when he's supposed to and paid to be the number 1. People are just simply tired of Howard's struggles, simple as that.

Larkin is doing great. I didn't expect him to do what he's already done going into this season. He's beyond exceeded lots of people's expectations. He's cooled off lately, but it was bound to happen.No big deal. McDavid was the most hyped player since Crosby. He's got 31 points in 28 games on a last place team. If he wasn't injured he'd have alot more. Larkin isn't at his level.

True enough. Rival is the wrong word for it I guess. Just noticed Kindl's cap hit for next season would have been $3 million!!! Haha good riddance.

Yeah let him take as much time as he needs if Howard keeps playing well. Shouldn't rush back from a groin issue. Let him rest a bit more, and let Howard try and raise his trade value. All good. -
