Bin is right. There is no top talent on this team, including Mantha and Larkin. We have to come to the cold truth that Mantha and Larkin may be the next coming of Tatar/Nyquist or Filppula/Hudler, and not Datsyuk/Zetterberg. This is one of the reasons I advocate against the tank. Do you think Datsyuk or Zetterberg would be the caliber of player they were and are today without spending extended time with Yzerman/Chelios/Lidstrom etc etc. Without guidance they could have ended up down a hudler or fillpulla road as well. Team culture is everything. It's why teams like Detroit extended playoff appearances well past their prime and why teams like Arizona cant even start one. Mantha and Larkin can learn from Zberg (thank god) but after that there's not much to look up to. A natural talent like Dahlin is well needed

I don't even mean this as an insult, but he's legitimately just incapable of understanding. Every time I go over numbers with him he just blatantly doesn't understand how they're recorded or how to interpret them. High school level stuff. My point is, I don't think he has any ill will, or is trolling. He literally just ignorantly posts wrong stats. The interesting part is he always extrapolates big "conclusions" from these stats. It's like watching a monkey try to ride a horse.

Brendan Smith is garbage. We knew he was garbage, but now the rest of the league is finding it out. He can't even keep up in the AHL. Luke Witkowski is a more valuable player for christ sake. Philly is gonna find out soon that Mrazek also sucks Vegas is gonna learn Tatar wasn't worth 3 picks And Ken is gonna look like a genius for turning garbage into new young talent. Mrazek is so predictably unpredictable lol My prediction was he'd continue the hotstreak, get us a higher conditional pick, get re-signed by Philly at $4, and then s*** the bed game one in October and have another terrible season. But he couldn't even keep it together that long lmao The guy is s***. Howard - who everyone bitched is inconsistent throughout his career - is the epitome of consistency next to Mrazek. When Mike Green - a player who's probably a top 4 offensive specialist - is your #1 Dman, eating almost 20 minutes a night, your team has a real problem. Even Lidstrom was like 17 to 18 minutes a night in his prime.

I don't normally like to cast opinion on young players we hardly know a thing about. But the Isles scout I know talks very highly of McIsaac at 21. And the thing is, he's a western scout, covering mostly British Columbia. So when he starts to recommend guys I know he hasn't watched extensively, I start to think... ahhhh this is a guy he's probably hearing a lot about internally from the Isles organization and from their French-Canadian scouts. So I know it's not just his opinion but a probably a greater conversation going on in the NYI organization. I'll say he's my pick for our Vegas selection.

I gave it a D because Holland didn't trade all 12 roster players I hate and failed to obtain Karlsson
