While I totally agree, I don't see E getting traded unless a team really wants him. I think, to make room, it would be easier to trade Nyquist. Trading Pav, Howard and Nyquist clears a ton of cap space. I know DD, Mrazek and Sheahan need to re-signed, but that still leaves a lot of cap space to land Stamkos. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to also move E, could you imagine what we could accomplish with an extra $20M+ added to the $13M+ we are prjected to have before any increase if there is to be? Lets just say we could shed all that salary and end up with $33M to add players and re-sign our RFA's...Nice!

What do you think it would take to acquire Okposo's rights and Hamonic from the Isles then what would it take to turn Hamonic to the Jets for Trouba? Also if I'm going youth over our own UFA's, I wouldn't mind trying to get Rychel to add to our mix of kids, but then again there's that expansion thingy....maybe after expansion I'd try to get him.

I think every year there are a bunch of disappointed people here. I guess what may happen at the draft will have a lot to do with where Holland goes on July 1. If he dumps Dats and Jimmy's salary and proceeds to trade a couple of forwards and a couple of D, then we know something is going to happen or he hopes to.
