KICKAZZ - I wish they get rid of both contracts, but one will do if it gets us a missing piece to get us over the next level. PUCKBAGS - Not questioning him, just need to give to get. If we want to get that upper level high end player we need to get us over the hump into contending, you may have to get rid of a higher end talent that has become expendable.

I still wouldn't mind entertaining a trade of Howard for a big piece of what we need to take us to the next level. Of course the problem being who backsup Mrazek? Do I think Mrazek could handle the load of the majority of the games? Sure, but theres the injury thing just in case something happens. But we need to clear out some bodies to make room for better options and if it means trading a player of Howard's stature, so be it. We need D help and we need to trim fat for promotions next season as well....

This stinks, but it will give Jurco a big chance to prove he is ready. I too would like to see AA come up instead of Andy playing. Wth Jurco and Andy being the only two reserves here, wouldn't they have to recall at least one guy just in case? Maybe AA gets the call and keeps Andy as the 14th. PVD, ya I saw the Helm goal, good on him! Maybe it'll get him some confidence. But if you watch the replay, he tried his damnedest to miss the open net, almost clanking it off the cross bar. That would've been hilarious! Anyhow, two players out, if they miss Saturday's game, who comes in? You would think Jurco and Andy would be the ones, but will one of them get bypassed for AA?
