I have watched few games Tatar played in the world turney. He was skating all over the rink and at the end coughing up the puck in the offensive zone. He showed some offensive skills, however he has few years before trying in the NHL.

I am trying to remain positive, however the way things are unfolding makes me worry. No decent D available via UFA and the cash they demand is off the charts ! If things continue this way then Weber should be asking for 15mil/year over 20 years next summer. Kenny may resign Quincy for 6mil over 10 years. Crazy. I was hopping for a avarage D and a trade for Nash or Ryan. Now we have to trade for an avarage D. This sucks ! Somebody help !

Kenny has tough chess to play and add the elements Wings need to remain an elite team. I am confident that Kenny will work something out.

I can agree that there not many options left to significantly improve our D, however adding offensive firepower may solve the situation at least until next summer.

Nash is the best Canadian player next to Crosby. He has everything Wings don't have in one player. Will take Nash over Parise any day and situation. Hope Kenny will be creative and bring him to Detroit.

I have a feeling that we are going to love this guy. Iam sure he will play his heart out for our team. Not many on Wings roster are willing to do that.

This guy can't do anything other than slap shot. He will be injured for most of the season. 3.6mil/year slop shot guy. Useless.

That is the price Kenny paid for us not to see Hudler in Wings uniform anymore. Just think of it that way and it should ease the pain. Also imagine how pissed off fans would be of that team that signs Hudler for 4mil long term deal. After all our signing are not that bad. Expect something big coming today. -

Edmonton should sign Hudler first thing in the morning to add that veteran leadership. Schultz will learn the art of loosing there for a few years. That would be great for his NHL experience. Having Hudler there will also teach him how to suck.

That is the best news I have heard in a long time. I hope he signs elsewhere first thing on July 1st. To bad Iam not in Detroit. I would have personally escorted him out of city.
