We could have given a player 7 million over two years no problem, but that is what Sammy, Bert, and Tootoo are making now... I swear to god, what a waste of money. I have never been more livid over signings. No signing has ever angered me more than that dirtbag Tootoo. I am so pissed off at the choices and the cap management.

I STILL HATE BERTUZZI!!! Everyone in here is a moron. The only reason people hated to play him is he is dirty and plays dirty. He doesn't make the team better, he won't win us any games. He doesn't even deserve a third of the salary they just paid him, and there was a chance he wouldn't have signed ANYWHERE! He was a a healthy scratch in Nashville where they have no forwards to speak of and paid Gaustad 3.5 to fill Tootoo's roster spot. HORRIBLE# MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

THESE ARE PEOPLE I HATE AND MULTI YEAR DEALS!!!!!!!!! It doesn't matter if they get Parise and Suter, this f***s our cap. It would prevent us from signing and trading in the future. Oh and we only have TWO D MEN SIGNED FOR MORE THAN ONE YEAR!!!! Don't you think the 4.9 million would come in handy for that?!?!?!?! WHAT AWFUL MOVES!!!!!!!!!!! -
There is nof****** trade that makes any sense. The only thing I want is Sammy and Tootoo gone. I will keep five sammuelsons if we can get rid of Tootoo NOW. I am sof****** pissed. I have no faith in this team now, and it has too many people I hate on it now.

Tootoo was a healthy scratch on a team that was BETTER than the one we had WITH Lidstrom. I have never been more pissed at the Wings. I have never gotten THIS MAD. I want him gone NOW. THIS IS THE SECOND WORST DAY IN WINGS HISTORY. -
I don't want that cap hit. 7.8 is absurd. I don't want anyone at 7.8 right now. Plus I can't see us giving up a center and a defenseman and we don't have the goalie they want...

Who is his agent? Just wondering because of this... Brian Lawton @brianlawton9 Former Badger Chris Chelios very instrumental in the recruiting pitch for Ryan Suter. I am just wondering what we should read of this, and who is Suter's agent? I knew Cheli was going to go out there, but didn't think he got to meet. Lawton is an agent and is based in Minn... is he Suter's agent?

It is all conditional. I still say that cap management takes point. There are other options, but I am willing to wait until the dust settles to panic. However, if they both go to a few teams I will panic. I would rather get both of them if only to move them a year or two later than to see them go elsewhere. -

I thought I would fire up a thread for the biggest guy in the Farm system in Rasmus Bodin. Almost nothing is out there on him and he seems to have some good numbers. I thought maybe some of our Swedish friends could tell us more about him and let us in on what he does.

Correct me if I am wrong, but he was in charge of the Power Play and offensive systems. I never can remember the two guys we hired beyond the WMU ties and that our defense improved a ton, while the power play fell apart. I still would love Boughner but if we have two defensive minded assistant coaches we might become awful to watch. Edit: I would assume they would ask Lidstrom first, and he would say no.
