Ironically, I was thinking of including that in my post. Works both ways. If that goal had not happened, we would have lost the game as it was the tying goal going to OT. We made it into the playoffs by what 3 points? Could have changed the playoff outcome on a clear no goal.

To me, reviewing penalties can drastically change the outcome of a game. See; Oct 11,2014. I also remember another game, not even sure if it was the wings; (pretty sure it was) but crosby took a high stick from one of his own teammates and was awarded a 4 minute powerplay for high sticking. It could also be used to review dives and see if there was actual contact with the stick between legs for trips and stuff. The game is played faster then any other sport, theres nothing wrong with slowing it down for a second to correct a mistake.

I live 10 hours away and would pay 200$ to go to a meaningless game against Florida in January. Actually, I've paid over 750 to travel to detroit, stay there etc. for one night to see them play against the devils. Did it again to see them play Nashville in another meaningless game at the end of the season. Both games were about as high up at the Joe as possible Food for thought.

Im one of the biggest quincey haters out there, and I hate his signing even more than the Cleary one. Having said that, Quincey is anything but a liability on the ice. He makes dumb plays offensively, kind of the samuelsson version of a defender. His defence is above average, so its too bad he cant do a thing on offence Having Quincey on the ice does NOT make us worse, but it also doesn't make us any better. His cap hit is rediculous for that. Back to Kindl, He's the reason Quincey ever looked bad lastnight

I agree on Porter he has no future here but Ferraro still has potential to develop as a decent Pker. He can be used in GR

We learned that we still cant play a game without facing an injury. Actually though, Its nice to see that some of our prospects have a future in the NHL. This is just my opinion, but I think our top players will be what bring us down this year, the defence might surprise us.

Not too dissapointed about Ferraro/Porter but I'd like to see Callahan get a chance over Miller.. Not sure how great of a PKer he is but he seems to bring character to the lineup edit: forgot about Cleary... the fact that theres a possibility we lose Callahan for nothing for him is a joke

Sheahan is aweome. Helm fits on the team and is the perfect third line player but is injured way too often. Glendenning is also a great 4th liner as he can play against the teams top lines without being a liability, opening up room for Z and D. The miller re-signing was terrible. Abby has his perks but if he was gone it wouldnt affect us. Andersson and cleary have no business on the team, so ill agree with those 4. Honestly, I think our weakness is our core. Dats getting older and soft apparently. Zetterberg has been throwing no look passes like its his day job. Franzen is lazy and he sucks. Weiss is average at best as a 2nd line center. Nyquist is still a massive question mark and hasn't looked great. Kronwall has been questioned as a #1 defenceman (although he is one) and besides him, we have noone on D that can bring any sort of offence.

As great as that would be, the NHL would never allow it. They have contracts with specific cable companies for in region games. Gamecenter is a huge money grab since its the only viable way to watch the games

To me, it isnt worth taking him in a fantasy pool . Even with the slim chance he plays say 30-40 games this season, which is probably the best case scenario; How many points do you realistically think he'll get in that many games? Anywhere between 5-15. Theres really too many variables for it to pay off.

Guys, look schenn sucks. He forces hits and hes out of position all the time, its the last thing we need. Brayden is an awesome player, but even at the price of having luke on the team wouldnt be worth it

Ive seen him play quite a bit, hes overpaid and actually pretty bad... At most hes a 6th MAYBE 5th defenceman. Although we could use a guy like him, it would have to be at a much lower cap hit. I would probably trade Kindl for him though..
