WASHINGTON TIMES: Dave Fay yesterday reported Alexander Mogilny has apparently narrowed his choices of teams down to the Washington Capitals and Florida Panthers. Capitals GM George McPhee refused to comment.

Good riddance...

Why in the hell would he want to go to the Capitals, that doesn't make any sense at all. He's older, I would think he would want to go to a contender, and the Capitals are about as far as you could get from a contender nowadays. It would be cool if we could get him, but he is also olders so that alone deters me from putting too much stock into it. I would rather have Datsyuk than Mogilny. I don't know if Florida will go for Mogiliny, they've signed quite a few players now and they just got Gratton so they may be even further away from signing big-name players, but who knows.

To play with Ovehckin (sp) and probably because they're one of the few teams to show interest.
