Figured I'd start this as a "how would you fix the Lions" thread and let the other one be the "wow, the Lions sure stunk it up this Sunday" thread.

Anyway, my vote above is to fire Millen, but it won't matter. Coach and offensive line are the Lions' biggest needs. They need a disciplinarian coach, a new O-line up the middle, and a quarterback.

They have to get some owners that actually CARE about the game and WANT to WIN.

With all the talent on offense you have drafted its amazing the team cant score. You have 3 first round top 10 WR's and one stud RB.

Just amazing the team cant put anything together. Really is. This is the same franchise that never got any help for Barry Sanders......damn shame.

Pistons fans are getting into the act; here are the game notes from the Pistons game against Sacramento last night:

Bonzi Wells picked up a third-quarter technical for flipping the ball off Hamilton after fouling him. ... The crowd began to chant "Fire Millen", referring to embattled Detroit Lions president Matt Millen, as the Pistons pulled away in the fourth. The chant has also been heard at recent Red Wings and University of Michigan games. ... Isiah Thomas was the last Piston with 19 assists, doing it against Orlando on Feb. 16, 1993.

I can't wait to see what happens this Sunday, the last home game of the season. According to the Detroit News, WDFN is trying to organize an anti-Millen march. Even Wayne Fontes didn't hear it this bad.

I'm not for supporting the other team. Screw Cincy....Sunday, they're the enemy. That's what I loved about the Minny game....it was near open revolt in the stands what with people successfully eluding security and other fans writing FIRE MILLEN signs on anything they could find. And yet.....people cheered the Lions on when they had a chance to win. Cheer for the Lions, not the visitors. I say swarm the stands with Honolulu Blue, to show support for what the unis are supposed to look like, not this silly black jersey. and FIRE MILLEN.

Wear orange and embarass the ownership. Its either that or nobody show up, but we know thats not going to happen. I'm hoping Chad Johnson gets a couple quick scores and the game is a blowout right out of the gate. Chad with a "Keep Millen" sign or T-shirt under his jersey after scoring a TD would be perfect. I'd contribute to his fine fund if he did that.

I was wondering what top 10 draft pick you think we are likely to get this year?, because I was thinking, if Vince Young is still on the board I think we should draft him because he has chemistry with Roy Williams being at Texas, and maybe we could sign Steve McNair as a backup, because Titans are likely to cut him because they won't likely pick up the roster bonus, just wanted to know what you guys thought

Vince seems like too nice of a guy. I don't want to see his career ruined by playing for this organization. Same with Reggie Bush.

depending on the outcome of the rose bowl, vince young might stick around for his senior season too. why wouldn't he either?? he would be the favorite for the heisman next year and would have texas #1 in the nation. and after next year, he would be #1 overall pick in the nfl draft.

all of this of course assuming young would stay healthy.

F### that. I'm a Lions fan. I don't care if it costs us a few draft slots, I want to win the game. I don't think it's possible to embarass the ownership.....57 years of futility hasn't accomplished that, why should one game of wearing orange do it?

And f### Chad Johnson, if he does something to show up the Lions and embarass the fans and home team, I hope someone throws a bottle at his head. Now if he breaks out a FIRE MILLEN sign after scoring....that would be cool.
