I have respect not drool issues. i dont even have a clue as to why you brought that up. ya i post pictures... but its obvious that you dont look at anything else i put on there. i dont treat you like crud.(im also equally sorry that you cant tell the difference) im just saying what i feel. and you know im sorry you dont like hearing it . and calling me hunny is kinda wrong are you sure that your not crossing over ? LOL you know its difference in oppinion. i just feel that manny deserves the spot because where was he when cujo was here? he was in freakin stlouis... so you sorta make me chuckle cause it seems like you cant handle anything cause you get all fired up for nothing. its an oppinion and that is all. and no as far as im concerned i have watched his play and it is mediocre. i mean come on 17 freakin shots... if you want to be technical really not a big deal cause it was down in pittsburghs end alot of the game. that you cant deny. so dont go bashin on me... You guys have to remeber, Osgood is used to being the number #1 goaltender for almost every team that he has been on since 98. If we would've started Osgood last night then we probably would've won. Howard played good, he just got the back luck of the draw in how things went down. Osgood could do nothing about the first three goals against him. The refs screwed us big time by giving Atlanta nice gift-wrapped presents of 5 on 3 powerplays against us. The last goal on Osgood should of yes, been stopped, but it was like a semi-breakaway. This might be what Shanny14 is TRYING to say, but we aren't seeing it. Even since Osgood wound up in St. Louis, hockey cridicts have been saying that his level of play has gone down, but he's still an effective goaltender. That's only because he had a rough year in St. Louis. I don't know if that's what he's trying to say, then he should state it. I don't think Osgood is quite done yet though, and give him a couple more games, and we should see the old Osgood in MY opinion. But yes, the St. Louis thing in general doesn't mean a thing. fatcat6 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 We'll see what happens with Osgood and the Wings goalie situation tomarrow against the Panthers who blew out Nashville yesterday. Howard was supposed to play the whole game yesterday, and Osgood would play the next two games against Florida and Tampa Bay. Bobcock definitly pulled Howard yesterday night and put Osgood in only to tell the other players that their playing was unacceptable. And it worked, till Atlanta scored their 7th goal. I mean be real, when MacInnis retired, and then when they traded Pronger to Edmonton, you knew right then that St. Louis was going to be in major trouble, be now they're going on inexperienced kids to fill their shoes. Like I said, yesterday was not Howard's nor Osgood's fault. It was the refs fault for giving nice well gift-wrapped presents to the Thrashers with 5 on 3 powerplays. The Wings defense needs to step up to, and that's also why Howard and Osgood are letting goals in. It's because defense is not looking sharp, but they're still damn good. And people, stop complaining about Lilja. He's young. I think he's been good, and give him time. But for the goalies, there is more to it than just them folks. It is some of the defense too.. noone can deny that. but I can also tell you all factors of this team need to tighten up.. not just the goaltending. well anyway, seems like detroit is going through rough patches and they will just have to adapt to the rules and to the changes. Things will be great with time.. all the teams are deadlocked at 42 pts.. the heads of the divisions anyway. its unreal to think that.. boy would this be wild if the playoffs start today. I thinking they'll start playing harder soon though, because Babcock sounds like he'll get nasty if they don't start playing well the way he talks, and what I've heard.
