Guest ZetterBurger40 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 Those were just rumors, he finally admitted he was done after he left the Rangers for the last time.
interminded 1 Report post Posted December 9, 2006 In the summer there was a rumour: Rumor spreads of Pavel Bure's return But believe me, this is just a hoax. Like Ovechkin said: In reaction to the rumor, Sport Express quotes Ovechkin as saying, "I've been told about a Canadian radio station and this fantasy, but there's a limit to everything! Personally, this is the first I've heard of any plans for Bure to play for the Capitals, and I strongly doubt them."
WingNutt 12 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Old or not, Alot of NHL goaltenders are lucky that the Russian Rocket, is not making a comeback. If he did we'd be seeing alot of this ---->
Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted December 16, 2006 (edited) He could one time it from any angle. He could do a pretty little dance through 8 guys and score. He could go from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds. He couldn't get anyone to donate their knees to him. He had a good run. Besides, we've got a new rocket from Russia. The Russian Rocket... did he get that name cause he was great and fearsome like a rocket, but America eventually chopped him in half (knees) to prevent his skills from going to another team (Ukraine, Iran)? Who didn't love that analogy? Edited December 16, 2006 by Earthhuman
