Those were just rumors, he finally admitted he was done after he left the Rangers for the last time.

In the summer there was a rumour:

But believe me, this is just a hoax.

Old or not, Alot of NHL goaltenders are lucky that the Russian Rocket, is not making a comeback.

He could one time it from any angle. He could do a pretty little dance through 8 guys and score. He could go from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds.

He couldn't get anyone to donate their knees to him. He had a good run.

Besides, we've got a new rocket from Russia.

The Russian Rocket... did he get that name cause he was great and fearsome like a rocket, but America eventually chopped him in half (knees) to prevent his skills from going to another team (Ukraine, Iran)?
