So can someone give me an honest evaluation of how the boys are playing tonight?

Ozzie has been playing great. He's the reason we're only behind by 1. Cheli elbowed Tootoo but no call. But Floppa smashed Dats and no call but Dats got a penalty even though Floppa totally dove. Someone (Weber) tried to decapitate Hank...no call. We had a goal but the refs didn't feel like playing fair. AT LEAST THEY'RE CONSISTENT! <_< We're playing ok but they're playing better. Cheaper, but better.

Yeah, I must be watching a different game then. Not relaly just talkng about this game, but most games. Do you seriously think they are tough enough? Look at the last few playoffs. They are NOT tough enough. It's obvious.

Cool, CHelios hits a thug, their thugs hit our stars....that's fair.

So we should look at the past few playoffs in order to judge this year's team? How does that work?

/another search for something to blame..

How many goals is that now that have been taken away from us? I really wish we had someone that could beat the s*** out of an opposing player on the roster right now. This team runs around taking shots at our skill players, and there is no one who can do anything about it.

And it should have been a goal. Word right from Toronto that it should have been a goal, but it's too late now.

Yeah good call. They need to start showing up. Only 26 points in 11 games?!?!? (Or something...) Z sucks. Let's trade him.

Warning - watch your computers as this post is dripping in sarcasm and may short your motherboard.

Excuse me? Did I mention anything about their play prior to tonight? No, I didn't. I said that Zetterberg and Datsyuk need to show up in games of this magnitude. Scoring goals against Chicago is great, but you have to be able to make some plays on the road in a raucous building in a game with huge implications. They were close to invisible in the first period, much like they have been in the playoffs, especially Datsyuk. They won't be considered a couple of the best players in the league until they do so.

Wasn't that one incredible? Pavel whacks his stick... and therefore Forsberg's legs completely buckle!

What the #$$&.. !?!?

Another snap judgment, one which utterly forgets the past. Do you remember the last game against Nashville, my friend?

Why, oh WHY do people tend toward such quick and easy panic???

"Edmonton has killed us this year. We'll lose if we need to play them in the playoffs. What, we beat them 3-0 one game, and they didn't even get a shot in the first period? What, we've lost two of the others in shootouts? Well, that doesn't matter, we're still in trouble because... [insert bogus, strained conclusion here]."

Ok sorry I didn't read your post properly. I apologize. Ok Hank and Dats...let's do this!

That steams my clams that Forskin takes a dive, and Pasha gets the sin bin. I hope that lights a fire under him, but that he channels it in the right direction - namely, the goal. But watch it, they will probably call it off.

Uh...yeah I think they should look at the past few years to judge this year's team. Maybe you don't think so, but you are entitled to your opnion.

The wings are no tougher than they were last year, in fact I believe they lost some toughness with the loss of Shanny (even thoguh shanny has been a dud in the playoffs). Everybody is starting to catch on taht if you take the body with Dats and Zetts in the playoffs, that tends to negate them. What makes you think that's ggonna be any different this year? The wings are gonna face a scrappy, hungry team in the first round. What makes you think it's gonna be any different?

No I can't predict anything in any kind of certainty. But come on...there's no major changes to the wings this year as opposed to the last couple playoff runs, and that is worrying. I hope they make a trade for someone tough and who can score some goals.

I feel that you're judging the team's future in the here and now. Why bother?
