zata40 3 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 I'd rather meat Dallas first, not only because we win against them, but because they are a team a lot like us, and facing that team would be a good " warm up" to us in the playoffs

superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Edmonton blows badly crucial games like Minny last night. a team like that is not supposed to make playoffs. and they definitely don't deserve it They also play their best hockey against a team that wears red and white
drwforever 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Playing San Jose in the first round wouldn't be that bad. Yes, we played badly against them during the regular season, but they have been playing very poorly of late, so we could hit 'em when they're down. Last year, starting in February, I kept saying, "Anyone but Edmonton." This year, I think we could take any of the teams that are out there right now, if we have the right frame of mind about it. Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 (edited) I'd rather meat Dallas first, not only because we win against them, but because they are a team a lot like us, and facing that team would be a good " warm up" to us in the playoffs Meating someone sounds violent... Wings own Kings and Avs, that's the best match up for us. I too would avoid the Oil if possible. They might not win the Cup, but they have first round upset written all over them. ... Is my girlfriend cheating on me? As for who I'd want to meet... whoever would underestimate us the most (San Jose? We could be their Edmonton). jenova0 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 They also play their best hockey against a team that wears red and white Unlike last year, I am less afraid of the Oilers this year. The Redwings tend to play well against teams that have embarrased them before (i.e. St. Louis, Colorado, Nashville to name a few). Generally, when they are pissed off, they bring their A game. russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 The West is a grinder I don't necessarily prefer any one team over another though Dallas does seem to be the weakest link. The only 2 teams I want to avoid in the first round are Calgary and San Jose.
