Systemfel 33 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 "Tucker will earn an average of US$3-million per season for at least three years, reports the newspaper. FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Reasonable price! Didn't think he was going to leave Toronto anyway. So what if he can only score PP-goals? That's an important asset. To those who'll say he isn't worth it - remember Sturm.

Barrie 900 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Tucker loves Toronto, so it should come as a surprise to anyone that he re-signed.
Airborn 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 This makes Holmstrom's deal look even better. Homer's a better player than Tucker, and we got him for less money.
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 This makes Holmstrom's deal look even better. Homer's a better player than Tucker, and we got him for less money. Dunno about that. They put up pretty similar offensive numbers, but I think Tucker brings a few more intangibles compared to Holmstrom. Not that Holmstrom isn't a very useful player. I love it! This means the Leafs will suck for even longer. Tucker will never win the Stanley Cup as a player. His temper and penchant to make bone headed decisions always come back to bite the Leafs in the ass. Once they resign Sundin to a $7 mil contract they'll have almost their entire Cap wrapped up in only a handful of players. Good job Fergie!
