Airborn 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 (edited) not really its pretty straight forward, tie your strap down and you won't get ejected, it's there because some more active fighters (mccarty) would just let the top half of their equipment slip off which gives them an advantage over their opponent It sure didn't help Lebda tonight! superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 I almost feel semi-bad for Williams. Going from the best in the west, to one of the worst teams in the NHL... oh well. How about Marty Biron (even though he is pleased) first to worst.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 just got back from the game. as usual there were more wings fans than hawks fans at the united center. i feel bad for williams. he looked sad out there. poor guy. calder looked pretty good. scored on his first shift, can't complain about that. lang was his usual self. anway, glad we got the W and i got to see itt. That night I believe it was Mick who called it the "Rob Ray/Bob Probert" rule. Severn got tossed that night for slipping out of his torso padding in a fight with Pushor if memory serves. Went all the way down to the skin.

jpfalcon09 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 That might have been one of the most complete games the guys have played in awhile. Great to see Calder contribute in his first game, I think he showed tonight what he can do for this team and the guys around him, seemed like Franzen fed off him really well. Langer needs to get his butt in gear, I seriously think that until Bertuzzi comes back they should experiment with Draper, Filppula and Hudler to go with Calder and Franzen, anything to spur on Lang. Homer keeps on rolling, at this pace he might come close to 40 goals. Great to know he'll be around 3 more year. Keep it rollin' boys.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 I almost feel semi-bad for Williams. Going from the best in the west, to one of the worst teams in the NHL... oh well. The way he sounds in the interviews, he might actually be glad to play there. He has no pressure to perform anymore, so it might work out good for him. Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Absolutely loved Datsyuk's game tonight! Me too! I said before the game, Datsyuk would have to play a really good game for the Wings to win and he definitely did. No one on the Blackhawks could bascially touch him out there. auxlepli 17 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 It was a good game. I was really happy to see Calder score 1:48 in and later add an assist. The game atmosphere is awful at United Center, which is a shame because it's a fairly nice arena - on the inside. Outside there's NOTHING, and UC is in a truly awful location. Besides the team's poor perfromance I can see wny Hawks fans stay away. If it wasn't for the Wings fan there, the atmosphere would have been horrid.
