I'm kind of confused at what is deemed appropriate or acceptable. Well I hate to confuse you even further but it's really an I-know-it-when-I-see-it kind of thing. Cussing is allowed on the boards, excessive cussing is not, and excessive cussing usually ends up meaning multiple posts, unless the one post is just egregious. Generally, if you're wondering what the line is when it comes to removing threads, threads get removed when they reflect poorly on the site and the site's membership as a whole, rather than reflecting poorly on just one idiot member. Such as several members getting so mad at each other they're all treading the line on the forum guidelines. Or when the discussion has obviously reached a point where it's not going anywhere because it's been so badly derailed by one shouting match.
