Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 10, 2007 I definitely know more about hockey than my guy (shhh don't tell him I said that, but it's true) bwahaha. If you can't find a guy/girl who's crazy about hockey then find some good solid friends who are! Leave the better half at home, and go out and have some fun with all of your hockey crazy friends. *rubs hands together evily* I can't wait until I start my hockeymatch.com site and start rolling in the $$ then I can actually AFFORD my season tickets (just to keep it on topic)

Wingsfan924 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2007 I'm just curious, who here is lucky enough to have Wings Season tickets? Also, how long have you had them? It must be sweet to have 41 games every year to go to. The most I've gone to in a season is two . It's a dream of mine for atleast one year of my life to have Red Wings Season tickets. I had them for about 12 years. Gave them up last year after the strike, Joe Bucks and firing Lewis. Enough was enough. And know what? I don't miss it. THe Joe is a dump, the food sucks and I hate standing in lines to take a leak. Did I say lines. I meant LONG lines.
TheLegend19 1 Report post Posted March 10, 2007 No girl could ever know TOO much about hockey! That's crazy talk! Heck, when I play pick up hockey on Wednesday's there is a husband and HIS WIFE who play with us, and SHE is better than nearly half the guys out there, and I think that's awesome! Girls can def know too much about hockey. I met this girl once that knew a ton, and it was kind of creepy. I actually don't tell girls I'm a sports fan anymore. I think I used to scare them away because I knew too much. I found by keeping a low sports profile, I am able to keep around a girl much longer.
ultrapail 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2007 I am exactly in your situation. I think I scare boys too bc they're like ok you know TOO much. Yeah, I'm a rabid fan. Who suggested match.com Red Wings style? I'd be all over that! "Single female seeks Henrik Zetterberg clone..." I play drop in with a guy that looks just like Hank, long hair, beard, etc, I'll find out if he's taken for ya

THe Joe is a dump, the food sucks and I hate standing in lines to take a leak. Did I say lines. I meant LONG lines. Yeah those lines are brutal. That's what happens when the top and bottom levels share the same concorse. Still though, look at all the great seasons you were able to see, 1992-93 to 2003-04. Despite the building and the lines, the memories you have are priceless.
