Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Hommer seems to have hit a slump since Zetterburg has been out of the line up. Only 2 goals since and pointless in his last 5 games the missing #40 has watched his line mate struggle to keep his production up. On the other hand the last member of the hot trio has been carrying on regardless. Pav has 2+11 and is a +8 since losing his Scandinavian buddy. Not sure why Hommer is suffering maybe he is still feeling his injury. Zetts rookie stand in Flip has done well posting a 3+2 and a +4 rating on the top line since his promotion. Yzermaniac192005 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Well as anyone who's watched hockey and especially played it knows that one day everything you touch goes in and the next all you hit is a brick wall no matter what you do. I think Homer and Dats are just having their own little streaks like every player does and when Zetts get back it'll help them even more. And obviously Z is an outstanding player, he will help way more then hurt when he returns. And I agree tho, Homer might still be feeling that injury especially after that "collision" at center
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Well, clearly Holmstrom must be lazy and he must suck! Ah, you know I'm only kidding. He's just in a slump. He'll get out of it, whether it's with or without Zetterberg.
HenrikRules40 14 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 I think Homer's lovesick. I don't blame him.
Louisville 112 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 I'm not to worried about Homer, seems like the rest of the team is picking up the slack just fine.
arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Well, truth is those three, although 3 very different players just mesh together sooo well. For sure they aren't going to be the smae force without Z in the lineup. What is making me curious is with our 2nd line being so strong right now, when Z and Bert finally do hit the lineup ... who's gunna go where? Not a whole lot of time to juggle and play with stuff before the playoffs.
Flip-check 6 Report post Posted March 17, 2007 I think Homer's lovesick. I don't blame him. This syncs with a post-practice quote from him: "Ehhh, it is true, I do miss Zata. I do not miss him rifling tip-shots at my groin in practice though. It is not so funny."

Henkka 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2007 The sky is falling. Homer is in slump. We just won Nashville two times in a row. Who cares about some slumps then?
