I mean I know they CAN make it IF they win the rest of their games and the Flames lose the rest, but still.... Ooh Nucks score. Pretty much. I mean, they won't be mathematically eliminated, but they're pretty much done. And wasn't it just a few years ago when Colorado was worried about ending their string of division titles with Vancouver creeping up on them? Now...well, I feel bummed for Sakic. He let's Rob Blake gone, and his biggest free agent signing last season was probably Tyler Arnason. Combined with the fact that he did nothing at the trade deadline makes it worse. ...And with Calgary now having a pretty comfortable lead on Vancouver, the Av's are more than likely out of it. Gentleman Joe and Milan, I feel bad for them both, but they are franchise players in Denver and will stay the course there. I love Hejduk and would love to see him play for a contender.
