Damn, I can't say I can remember the last time i heard a hockey player out with a fractured hip--talk about a freak thing. Really sucks, we're gonna miss him. Looks like Lilja is gonna have to step it up.

I'm not really surprised that Kronwall's out for an extended period of time, given how he had to be helped off the ice and barely putting weight on one leg to be helped off.

Looks like Lilja's in for good now even when Lebda gets back, and Quincey's now 7th d-man. It's not all that bad. I'm no big fan of Lilja but he's done real well these past few games, we just got to cut him some slack and hope for the best in him, and Quincey seems to bring a decent all-around game from the limited action I've seen in him. Nothing he excels at greatly, but nothing he just blows brainfarts at either, and he'll throw his body around some it seems.

I'd definitely prefer to have Kronwall in for good over Lilja but this isn't that bad of a scenario once Lebda gets back.

Like him/hate him because he might not be developing still, you have to just feel for Kronwall, the guy just can't catch a break with one bad injury after the next.

the reason krownall can't catch a break is that he doesn't play smart. his style isn't at all conducive to his size. he will probably be plagued by injuries his entire career. i'd rather be with him than lilja these playoffs, but i wonder if kenny is starting to think twice about the big contract they unloaded on kronner.

Time for Lilja!

It sounds like someone should put the Lillypads beacon into the sky! The Commish has urgent news about the Joker!

When Kronner couldn't straighten his body out vertically last night, I should have figured it was something in that area. Mickey thought it was his right leg... but he was bent in a certain position when he got to his knees, and he couldn't even stand straight once he got to his feet. That just sucks, he's going to be bedridden for a while, I think.

Actually he broke his butt.

Its a broken sacrum i guess technically. In which case if it was a player i didnt like such as Samuelsson, a clever poster such as, i dont know, myself ;) would make the joke that he doesnt have to worry about losing his balls since he doesnt have any. But I like Kronwall.

He catches too many breaks.

- Aho! I'll be here all night.

Zing! :D

I doubt he'll be back. A broken hip, or whatever it is, is just too serious to risk him coming back. Besides that, he'll will be out of shape and probably be really bad from being gone so long. If Lilja can handle himself and play decent like he has the past few games, it's really not a big loss. But still though, Kronwall is never going to be the franchise defenseman he was prejected to be with all these injuries.

What about that new guy we just got? Bertuzzi I think is his name. :P

As long as he plays really nice and not like a big meanie to the other teams then i like him

6-8 Weeks!!! This sucks!! He was awesome in the Gold Medal game, and I would imagine he would have been pretty good in the playoffs.

So, basically out for the season. This sucks!!

Sammy will pull out a huge game winning goal in a crucial playoff match-up, then you all will be flocking back! It's truth at its best!

:P

Haha I was just going to say because of what we are all saying watch him score a huge OT goal or a much needed goal in the playoffs.
