Anyone know who's going to be keeping a watch between the pipes tonight?

I would think Hasek will go tonight then against Chicago the first game and Hasek the second.

Really excited for this game since I will be attending so we need a "W"!

Prediction: Red Wings - 5

Blue Jackets - 2

:hehe:

Well Nash does have a point a game the last 14, including 6 goals, but I go with the last 4 or 5 games stats wise, in referring to someone as "hot" [not literally though ].

I like how Z is still leading in goals after what, 2 weeks of not playing?

When is he back?

"Yesterday was a good day for Zetterberg. That those good days are often followed by bad days of back pain and limited mobility, however, mean that the team isn't risking putting their first-line center back in game action just yet. "I'm still going to have a few more days before I'm back," said Zetterberg. "Some days it's better. Some days it's worse. You just have to work a little harder on those good days. Today was good. I just wish I had a few of these days in a row."

When asked if tonight's game was a playoff game would he be on the ice, Zetterberg said that he would. But then he added that he wouldn't know if he would be healthy for the next game or the game after that. "The difference between me and Pav last year is that he wasn't skating before and I've been skating for a few weeks," said Zetterberg. "So that's a big difference. It's getting closer and closer now to playoffs. I'll be glad if I get in one before."

Wings must win games against easy teams, unless they're deliberately trying to avoid playing Calgary and risk playing Dallas or San Jose, which we all know they won't do.

I noticed you still have Hank as day-to-day.

I thought he was supposed to be back tonight.

Has that changed?

MLive is reporting that he's still not ready.

Forward Henrik Zetterberg continues to skate hard in practice but said he's at least a couple of days away from returning.

"I'm skating pretty good but still haven't taken the final step, battling (for the puck) and stops and starts,'' Zetterberg said. "Sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse. The good thing is I've been skating for a long time, so when I start playing it's not going to be that big a step.''

He said if the playoffs began tonight he probably would have tried to play.

Agreed!

Come now, I think motocitykid did a FINE job!

Anyhow, first Wings game in my new house!! Should be a good omen, and.. yet another slaughter of the hapless BJ's. They lost another defenseman, (Tollefson?) from a nice Bertuzzi hit the other day, so they are moving some forward back to D I heard. I say rest even more guys for this one.

Wings: 3 (Mule, Draper, Datsyuk)

BJ's : 1 (Vborny - PP)

Who is in goal?

Yes he did!

We just can't avoid winning all 3 games this week & you all know what that means.

4-3 WINGS

Todd gets 2,'cause now he'll shoot more often.
