arin 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 Bonafide power forward for a possible(low chance) power forward.. Hm.. Shawn's probably going to look pretty good in the juniors, since half of them are 5'9"..

Doctor G 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 As I stated in the other post, I believe the Wings made a mistake. This kid has very good chance to be a good to very good NHL'er. Bert has not much of a factor so far and if he becomes just a rent-a-player, the Wings will have made a bad deal. But I will give them the benefit of at least trying to improve their chances at the CUP. Of course time will tell in this matter.
Airborn 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 The Bertuzzi trade iis about winning now. When you can go out and get a player that gives you a better opportunity to win the cup, and the price is only a mid-level prospect, I say you have to do it.

I agree, we need a power forward now, with prospect's we just don't know how they will pan out, With Bertuzzi we already know what we're getting. So for me it's worth the risk. theman19 47 Report post Posted April 17, 2007 there will be plenty of Matthias's in the NHL that we can get if we draft correctly. There was only one Todd Bertuzzi on the market. Chance to dominate in the stanley cup playoffs, mid level prospect,....you make that move everytime.
