Also, this way I can do a little trade-off with the wife - I watch the little one for a while on Saturday and she reciprocates on Sunday. It's a win-win. Born in the Red and White 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2007 I wont be able to make it to the gqame through this Sunday (stupid grad school), But I still want to be involved for the later games this round, Let me know when and where we are going to meet for games later this round and in future rounds... I usually watch games via center ice or go to little woodrow's on Parmer in N Austin. The hostess there is a huge wings fan and they usually have the games from versus on.... It's at Parmer and McNeil (west on Parmer, off of North MoPac. Yankee, you and I are way north and that's convenient for me. Some of our AustinWings are way south. I can't wait. Hockey is always more fun when you have someone to high-five with, or drink beer(s) with if things don't play out correctly (i.e. Wings win). Some guy stopped me in the grocery store parking lot once, and said, "What's that?", pointing at my Wings logo. I said, "A Red Wing's decal." He responded, "Yeah, but whatis that?" Um... a hockey team??? I saw a car in front of me on MoPac (freeway) just this morning with a Flames car flag. I couldn't catch him to show him my Red Wings baseball cap.
