Fresh goalie proven playoff performer vs tired Kipper Obviously if you are down 3-2 you take the chance on Dom as there is no tomorrow. Just curious what folks think. TheLegend19 1 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 I'm not sure. You bring up a good point with fresh proven playoff vs. tired Kipper - however, Kipper would still have an advantage. He knows the tempo of the series by playing the previous games. It would take Osgood a little while to catch up and get used to the tempo and way the series is going. shadow47 1 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 If the Wings are up 3-1 after 4 games, play Osgood in Game 5. He has shown he can come in and contribute to the team, so let him. If he loses, you can come back with a fresh Dom in Game 6.
