wingsfan_54 10 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Not many ppl are talking about this, but Yes we outplayed Calgary big time and deserved to win this series hands down, but yesterday Hasek came up with sum unbelievably huge saves and I think he needs some credit saying it's all talk about how Kippy kept Calgary in it!! I love it yesterday we seen the DOminator!!! Keep it up Dom!!! GO WINGS GO!!! P.S. I wouldn't say that Kipper is overhyped, he's the only reason the Flames had a chance in this series. But Dom was definitely awesome last night, and I agree he did in a way steal the game for the Wings, if thats possible when they had 50+ shots. I don't think you could overhype Kippers performance in this series. He's the only reason Calgary had a chance. this wasn't like years past where the Wings were peppering goalies with low percentage perimeter shots. They were getting tons of quality chances. Dom wasn't nearly as busy, but he made HUGE saves that kept the Wings in the game. Game 5 he stopped a two on one and a breakaway in the first period.
