MarkusNaslund 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 The morning after, and I still feel bummed out. Even with Luongo ... this franchise just seems cursed. I know they're not eliminated yet, but let's face it; they're done. Even if this team stretches it to 7 games there's no way Anaheim drops three in a row. The sad part is that we should be up 3-1, at the very least 2-2. One flukey goal in Game 3 from Luongo and a defensive implosion by the twins in Game 4 and the series is done. This sucks, this really really sucks. Looks like I'll be cheering on Bertuzzi and the Wings after Thursday.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 (edited) Sorry bout the loss, Markus. FWIW, I thought the Nucks deserved to win last night with the way they were playing. It was just bad luck with the way it ended. Anyways, while you may think it's over. It always seems like the Nucks are the team that can never be countded out..even with a 3-1 deficit in a series. Don't lose out hope just yet. Edited May 2, 2007 by HockeyCrazy3033

Sometime's the best team's don't alway's progress. Wether it's because of a goal scored against the run of play or a defection or the opposition's goaltender has just been outstanding. we should know it happens to us quite a lot. Wings_Fan_In_Exile 3 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 Wrong, a team that was created by Disney will NEVER rock...ever Haha. My thoughts exactly. Hopefully the series will manage to drag on to 7 games and wear out the winner the the Wings hopefully play next round.

The best team IS winning in this case glasgow. Who outside of Vancouver went into this series actually thinking the Canucks were better? Way to go Moen! Its always nice to see tough guys like him and Ryan Clowe become such valuable contributors. See what can happen when you take chances picking up guys like this? The Ducks got Moen for little and turned him into a very solid 3rd liner, and Clowe was a 6th rd pick.
wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 Didn't see a GDT, hope nobody minds if I start one. Just saw the National Anthems sung by both teams. The Canadian Anthem was nothing short of amazing, as the singer (don't know his name), held the mic out for the the crowd to sing the entire second verse, which they sang loud and clear. I know most fans from both our teams were rooting for the Nucks over the Stars, and that most fans are also hoping that the Ducks and Nucks take a LOT out of each other in a hard grinding exhausting series that leaves the victor tired and beat up going into Round 3, but is there anyone here rooting for Anaheim in this series? Personally, I'm hoping for the Nucks to even it up, and for a number of reasons, one of which was stated above. GAME ON! EDIT: Sorry about the "Duck" not "Ducks" title, can't edit that unfortunately. Just to let you know, the guy is named mark and he always puts the mic out to the crowd to sing.. I've been to gm place tones of times and its crazy when the crowd sings like that its pretty eletric.. But im hoping the Ducks win because i can't stand the nucks and im sick of everyone where i live talking about them so i want to see them golfing
