According to all the "professional hockey analyzers" were not even suppose to be here right now.

According to the "professional hockey analyzers" earlier in the season, we weren't even suppose to make the post season.

And all of the Pro hockey analyzers had us losing to Minnesota with Backstrom and Vancouver with Luongo. Please dont get me started on the pro analyzers. What was Maggie the monkeys take on this series? Just kidding, I really dont want to know.

And just when did the Ducks want to unload Giguere??

And as you said, you dominated, but you didn't win. And if we clutched, grabbed, and interferred as was allowed per your statement above, I guess we did outwork, outhussle, outchance, and outplay you thereby showing more heart to win the game.

And yes, I had an arena seat to those last two games at home. They were beautiful to watch.

Um, last year and this year. There were several rumours and talks about them dealing one of their 2 goalies. But they wanted to unload Giggy because of his enormous contract and the fact that Bysrsrflgyslf had a very small one. But I guess you would have known that if you actually follow the NHL.

Check out this site; it's a good one for new fans trying to learn the game or wanting to climb back on the bandwagon until their team gets knocked out again:

There's stlll a good chance that he won't be resigned after this year so they can resign some of their UFA's and possibly add another scorer.

And clutching and grabbing does not equate working. It's laziness. So yeah, I guess you were more lazy than us.

And I'm glad that you enjoyed that view. After we lost I drown my sorrows with the several videos I have of the Wings winning the Cup. Watching Giggy cry after the Ducks got beat by the Devils also makes me happy.

What the f*** are you reading? Everyone's currently on their knees in front of Anaheim expecting them to easily win the Stanley Cup.

Well, here's a newsflash: If it weren't for a bulls*** call, you'd be down 0-2 to a better team.

Hey, I'm a Ducks fan as well, but I disagree with the notion that Detroit is waving the white flag. It may look like Anaheim is the team with all the finesse, but Detroit doesn't put up with that. Their defense is frustrating our guys, especially Pronger, whose PP dominance (he has been great offensively in the postseason PP) is being shut down by an excellent defensive effort. It's nice to see this series not end up in a sweep finally, as it looks like both of these teams are playing with overwhelming passion and confidence.

These teams have only played 2 games, and yes this series is short, but I don't think any side is indicating they are going to just "give up". This is what I call playoff hockey.

Opponent fans like you are a breathe of fresh air lately.... I still don't understand where the fun is in bashing the other team and making arrogant statements. Must be missing something.

Good luck and let's hope this series is as good as I think it will be

Finally an intelligent Ducks fans who's interested in talking hockey instead of causing crap all the time.

I imagine about 95% of the fans here will forget about hockey the minute the Ducks season is over. Especially if they don't win the Cup or get beat by Detroit.

Getzlaf15 himself said he takes a break during the summer. True fans follow their teams all year long.

This is the best response you can give me??? Go to spectorshockey??? Like they are sitting in Brian Burke's office and listening to all his phone calls with the other GMs. HAHAHAHAHA If everthing that was reported on spectorshockey happened, half of the players on each team in the NHL wouldn't be on the team that they're currently on.

Real Ducks fans know that Bryzgalov (the correct spelling) is up and down and usually just shows up big in the playoffs.

Of course there's a good chance he won't be signed. He's a free agent and the last time I looked up that meaning it meant that he could decide to go elsewhere or we may not sign him. Thanks again for the information though.

Wow, after you lost that last game, I didn't have to drown my sorrows at all. I quickly bought tickets for the next round and the next round and wow, the Stanley Cup Finals. You however, had to go back to your glory days of the Wings and wonder when or if ever, that would ever happen again. Pretty amazing that after that series, the Wings dynasty fell apart and you're only beginning to recover thanks to Babcock.

I was looking for a link with Prongers statements and couldn't find one. Even emailed Greg Brady.

He mentioned it around 8:15am this morning as I was driving in to work. He danced around saying his actual name (and most of the bit was joking around about it), saying it "rhymes with donger", etc., but it's something Pronger said while, um, showering.

Did anyone else just hear the sound of a toilet flushing? I think someone's credibility just went down the drain :P Anaheim was picked by most pro analyzers to win the West and have yet to be an underdog in a series.

Hahaha. That's not the only website that was reporting it; TSN, ESPN, CBC, The Score, etc.

And you're right, we really fell apart. Afterall, all we did the year after we got knocked out by you was claim the #2 seed and advance to the 2nd round while the Ducks didn't even make the playoffs.

And after that? We won a Presidents trophy and came within a tie of winning it again this year. You're right. Boy have we stunk since then. Glad to know you're ontop of your stats.

But then again, I don't expect you to know much as you seem to spend most of your days posting at a rival message board for no real reason. Go back to being a hockeymom. I'm sure you're better at that than talking about hockey. Afterall, you've probably been a mother longer than the 2 years you've been a Ducks fan.

Unnecessary roughness, man. The Niedermayer way... At least we have a dynasty to remember, and we don't need to insult others to feel better about ourselves. You should take class lessons from some of your fellow Duck-fans.

I will be honest, I am new to hockey. Before I kind of liked it but never really followed it. My sister-in-law worked for the Ducks and so I became a fan that way and really didn't start watching until the Ducks 2003 cup run. After that season I didn't really follow because the Ducks sucked the next season and then there was the lockout. Last year is when I really became a HOCKEY fan, not just a Ducks fan. My sister has season ticket so I went to all the games last year and I have fallen in love with the sport. It has become my favorite sport by far and I will not stop thinking about it once the Ducks season is over.

That being said, all this back in forth is ridiculous because nothing is ever going to be achieved. Everyone is going to back their own team as it should be. I hate it when Ducks fans go onto another team's board and say things that make us all sound like morons. I think you can be supportive of your team while being respectful.

I have the utmost respect for the Red Wings organization. I remember I was always the Red Wings on NHL 94 for the Sega and would always score with Paul Coffey. I think you guys are extremely talented and I have no idea how you have so many big name talents on one team.

I am not sucking up, just giving credit where credit is due. You have shut down our PP and are taking it to our PK. You are looking like you are on a power play while in fact we are the ones on the power play. The Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Holmstrom line scares me and I have to look away whenever one of them has the puck. However I think the line that has been most effective for us is the Perry, Penner, and Getzlaf line. They seem to control the puck down low a lot when they are out there and have probably generated the most scoring chances for us.

There is no way this is going to be a quick series. It will go at least six because I don't see either team winning three in a row. I think both teams can play at another level and when that happens this series is going to be even more exciting than it already is.

Best of luck out here on the slushy ice ;)

Sad thing is, Pronger is right at this point. Maybe it's the fact the Wings get interfered with everytime they dump the puck into the zone. The Ducks have taken away puck control and speed through the neutral zone, which the Red Wings thrive on. When they are forced to shoot the puck in deep, they haven't been able to regain control and get some pressure. Maybe if the refs called the game properly this would change. The Wings are going to have to score ugly on the road in Anaheim, or else...

everyone should just keep in mind that we looked out of sorts in the first three games versus the sharks too. babs will make some adjustments and we'll be fine. both the games so far have been very competitive, what else could you ask for?

I concour.....this is a good Ducks team, and they look better than the Wing's through 2-games. Now who should know better than Wing's fans, that the best team does not always wint he series? Should be a good one in Game 3, but we will have to come out very intense.

San Jose looked better than us the first two games last series also. I can only hope the Ducks soften up like the Sharks, but I doubt it in this case. I'm a little worried about the D wearing down, with OT games and a long series and guys out, but I believe if everyone plays their best hockey, we might be able to overcome it...
