kindlwillbegreat 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 Its also been really overplayed how 'weak' this draft year is. http://www.canada.com/edmontonjournal/news...48-21b436a3c8a4 There is no Crosby Malkin or Ovechkin, but there is plenty of talent still. Everything is up in the air. exactly , and theres gonna be some gems in this draft we'll talk about in the future , i find it hard to believe to go through a draft and not find some good players along the way
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 Can you believe that the Lions sell out? I mean, at least the Hawks make the playoffs from time to time. Hahaha, well it's only because Detroit is a loyal sports town and the NFL is the US's top dog in sports. It's like hockey here in Canada. No matter how the Leafs play they will always sell out. Always.
BringHomeTheCup! 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 to "you" there are no gamebreakers.... patrick kane , turris and riemsdyk are gonna be really good players in this league and you think the hawks would trade one of them away along with aucoin to shed salary and get tanguay ?? thats just crazy . patrick kane's got unbelievable talent , just cause theres no crosby doesnt mean the draft sucks , chicago needs help your right but they wouldnt trade away there future just to make the post season, calgary's got unrestricted free agents this yr ( hamrlik, stuart, amonte) that they can choose not to resign to save cash , which is why i wouldnt be surprised if tanguay went the other way so they get a defensemen back in line up and basically trade tanguay's salary and go for a ryan smyth . . .....trust me the flames dont need to shed cap space to keep both kipper and iginla i heard somewhere thanks to the canadian dollar being strong and all , that theyd raise the cap next year ,they'll be fine incoherent lol ill let that pass ...........your a smart guy lol .........i can see them trading tanguay to go for a smyth though which i heard somewhere before that there really gonna push for him , i can see it happening it would be like smyths way of saying F-U to lowe and the front office Calgary has about $32-434 spent already. Bringing over Aucoin adds $4. The only way sending Tanguay over to Chicago in return could be seen as a move to get Smyth would be if Aucoin was bought out or then traded somewhere else. Calgary, much like Dteroit, doesn't have the cap space to sign Smyth. Especially with Iggy and Kipper both needing to be re-signed in '08. As for the draft, there is no one available in the draft who can help Chicago out significantly in the next 3-5 years. Tanguay could. That's all I'm saying. Production Line 1 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 Of course he will waive his no trade clause. Who would not want out of Chicago?

There is not one guy in this draft who will be an impact in this league in the next 2-3 years unless something crazy happens. Turris admitted today on tv that he thinks he's too skinny and underdeveloped to make an impact anytime soon in the NHL. As for Kane and van riemsdykearooney..cmon man..these guys have potential but saying we will be talking about them and how great they are in a few years in just crazy. Quit watching so much tv kid!! It's Dreger, Mackenzie, and Duthie job to pump up this draft on tsn preview shows or no one would watch it. Its being touted as one of the shallowest drafts in years!!
