Also keep in mind every fan who ever had anything against the Wings is voting for the Canuckleheads. St. Louis fans, Colorado fans, Dallas fans, the list goes on. The Wings have alot of their own fans, don't get me wrong - but the amount of fans out there that hate the Wings based on our success exceeds our numbers....its no use. Good point. I have to admit that I'd vote against teams like Colorado and Dallas even if I did like their logos just because I hate the teams. Of course I don't like their uniforms and logos anyways. Not only are they going to vote their stupid orca C to win the tournament, but they're obviously voting for every other Canadian team too. This can easily be noting by watching the growth in the Ottawa/Boston log poll. Once the Canuck fans started their crusade Ottawa's logo votes rocketed, same thing happened to the Edmonton/Chicago voting poll too. My interest in this poll died when we went from having an interesting match up of original six team logos, to a complete mockery. On a side note, Canuck fans are really annoying, not just because of this but just in general. I've lived in BC for quite awhile because my fiancee lives their so I now this first hand. Anyone who buys into another team claiming to have more dedicated fans or a larger fan base is being duped. This is nothing more than teeny bopper vancouver fan-boys with nothing better to do juicing the poll. I called out all their fanboys who admitted they think their own logo sucks but voted for it multiple times just so they could win. in essence that's what is going on over there. they seem to have 3 types of people 1. rational ones that know our logo kicks their ass so they voted wings 2. rational ones that truly believe the orca is better so they voted canucks. i'm cool with those folks they just have bad taste 3. the fanboys who know and admit the logo should lose but have hyped and pushed and done everything possible to get it to win the entire thing no matter what. frankly, there is no stopping that beast. the absolute fervor with which they approach polls is frightening. I would not be surprised in the least if they win the entire thing. don't be fooled people. they don't have a broader fan base or more dedicated fans or any such nonsense over the Wings or many other teams. That's complete bulls***. This is about a group of homer fanboys who are too young, have too much time on their hands and vote repeatedly for themselves even though they know the truth. 100 wings fans with 1 vote each still can't trump 1 fanboy who voted 101 times. Don't believe for a second that they have some great fanbase that puts ours to shame. We have principles!!! And we have a s***load of STANLEY CUPS! They have polls and rory fitzpatrick. ask yourself who you'd rather be rooting for? Good Lord. Who cares? You lost a stupid logo voting contest...it's just for fun. Don't whine about it. union drone 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 I don't see how Shamu can beat either the winged wheel or the shark biting the stick. To me at least, the canucks logo is one of the weakest. The wings and sharks have two of the best logos in the league. Can't complain too much about the finals though, the habs and blues are both pretty solid choices.
