union drone 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 Tim Cheveldae ??? It's gotta be Ozzie I would think... I'm guessing that Sawchuk is #1. There were a whole lot of lean years with few wins, and probably a slew of goalies after Sawchuk. The winningest goalie of the Wings post 1990 is almost certainly Ozzie, with Chevy probably next. It's gotta be Ozzie.

Who is the Red Wings active leader in consecutive games played for the Wings? and Who is the active leader in PIMs while with the Wings?

union drone 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 OZZIE IS CORRECT!!! Ok, I'm bored so I will do 2 more. Who is the Red Wings active leader in consecutive games played for the Wings? and Who is the active leader in PIMs while with the Wings? Active leader in penalty minutes? Probably either Draper or Maltby...Draper has been here longer, so it's probably him. Most consecutive games? Do you mean current streak or all time among active Red Wings? If it's the latter, I would say Lidstrom, if it's the former...no idea.
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 Longest current consecutive game streak would be Maltby. Most PIM for a player still active would be Shanahan I think. If you mean still active with the Wings, I'm not sure, could be Maltby again, or Draper.

I mean streaks any time among active Red Wings. Since it is complicated, I will say that it is Maltby with 168 and will replace it with this question. Who is the Red Wings all-time assist leader for goalies?
union drone 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 (edited) Who is the Red Wings all-time assist leader for goalies? Again, it's gotta be either Ozzie or Chevy. I don't think that goalie assists were all that common in Sawchuk's day. Here's a question for you: Name a Red Wings player who served two non-consecutive terms as the team's captain. There are two correct answers. Edit: clarification...not including seasons with rotating captaincy. Edited October 2, 2007 by union drone

union drone 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 Goodfellow and Abel Nice. Did you know it, or look it up? A lot of these are probably on the Wings' wikipedia page. I've been trying to answer without looking. It's more fun that way, for me at least.

Guest Lebda4Pres Report post Posted October 2, 2007 I only won a single Stanley Cup in my career. I've played for seven teams in my career. I returned to the team I had the most success in my career at the '03 deadline. The first game of the season i suffered a career ending injury and retired later that year. Who am I? norrisnick 1 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 The first game of what season? I would assume '03-'04, the first season after the return to the player's previous best stay. EDIT - I did some looking around to see who moved at the '03 deadline and the question is worded funny. The player got hurt in his first game back with the team with which he had the most (personal) success. Not the first game of the next season.
