When is the actual due date for 23 man roster

Some teams are only cutting down to 24 or 26 players, does anybody know when the 23 man roster is due, because I thought it was today

whats the max you can have a roster? and I guess if its more then 23 are the wings just saving cap space?

I'm fairly certain that you can be as high as you want but you have to be at or under 23 before you play your first game

Max. is 23 pretty much all year, the roster size opens up later in the year. Can't remember if it is just after the trade deadline or just for the start of the playoffs. Either way, you can carry as many guys on the roster as you want come playoff time.

Roster is max. 23 for the whole regular season. No limit for the playoffs. (Not like baseball, where it expands from 25 to 40 on Sept. 1st.)
