The two teams that lost the most ground since last year are the Tennessee Titans, who dropped 11 spots, from No. 15 in 2006 to tied for No. 26 this year, and the Detroit Lions, who moved from tied for No. 17 to No. 25, a drop of eight points;

no. The lions have a long history in the NFL, Jags don't. There are a lot of people who are Lions fans now because of Barry Sanders. They grew up watching him.

No Detroit team will ever be the least favorite team in the country because all of our teams date back generations (the Pistons are by far the youngest, and they've been in Detroit since the 50s). Also, while population and prestige has decreased in recent decades, Detroit is still one of the biggest markets in the country, and has some of the most passionate sports fans.

The Lions can suck every year, but people will still go to the games to yell at them, call up talk radio to complain about them and bring "Fire Millen" posters anywhere they can be displayed. In some other cities, if the team sucked that badly, most people would just stop watching them and stop caring.

I'd vote for Jacksonville. Boring team - the state of Florida already has two teams - how they got a third baffles me, I would have placed an NFL team iin 10 other places besides Jville....but hey I'm not the commish...

The Lions have been the epitome of mediocrity ever since I can remember (I'm 43yrs old). At work, when we screw up and do something that keeps us from huge success, we always say that we are tired of being the Detroit Lions, we want to be the Indianapolis Colts! We want excellence.

The Lions need to wear their throwback uniforms 100% of the time, they are awesome and they play awesome in them!
