Wasted PPs...

Unless we can net one in the first 40 seconds of the 3rd. That's what Im hoping for.

Well, that was obviously a much better period than the first. It would have been really nice to get one there at the end, but they'll still have some time to start the third. A goal there would be huge.

Osgood has been fantastic again. I'm not sure how long you stick with him if continues to play well. But, it's at least encouraging that he's on the top of his game.

Yeah...Datsyuk laid a good one on somebody at center ice in the game against the Ducks. Hes really come on with the body. He doesnt shy away now. I LOVE it.

There were hints of it late last season and in the playoffs, after the big payoff.

I wouldn't go singing the praises of "Demolition Datsyuk" yet...

But again, him putting Thornton to the ice was pretty cool.

Drew Remenda (FSN Bay Area color guy) loves Homer. If you don't have that feed, he just did a nice little piece on how effective Homer is at his job. I always like the SJ feed, they may be the least homeristic announcers in the league.

Drew is a great annoucer, but his partner is an idiot. And Mike Ricci ruined it, he's such a sharks homer that it hurt me listening to his voice. But man, I'd love if Remenda did Wings games, he's a good guy.

Question: How do you describe Zetterbergs playing style?

My stepdad calls him a grinder with offensive capabilities, benefiting from being on the top line.

It bugs me how un-appreciative he is of such domination.

well, no one ever accused Reech of being smart, he was a pretty good hockey player once, though. I would be a homer too, if I were him... they gave him a job that sounds like he basically gets to hang around with the team and get paid for it. I want that job!!

I really like Drew, and I agree, he'd be fun to have as a Wings' color guy. He knows a lot about the game.

I Agree.. I believe he actually said that Detroit could not skate with San Jose.. Which I think may be just a little bit of a biased statement..

Benefitting from being on the top line...Just like when he put up 85 points with Homer and Sammy as his wingers?
