Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 According to Spectors and Eurohockey.net goaltender Robert Esche has signed a contract with the Ak Bars Kazan of the Russian Super League. Esche wasn't a very good goalie, but I'm surprised that he wasn't able to land on a team anywhere. Someone like the LA Kings or any other team that has bad goaltending could have used him. Esche to the Kings would have been more of the same. They need a veteran, not another B-goaltender who wants another shot in the NHL... Curtis Joseph would be a good match, IMO.
