edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Zetts' point streak continues. Now I'd just like to see the goal streak continue. And for anyone that cares, Boston just forced Game 7 against Cleveland, final score 12-2.
terri27 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Yesss! Zetterberg feeds Malts in what amounts to Maltby's best period since the lockout Plus Hank's streak stays alive. Happy dance!
Draperfan 104 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Maltby is the new Draper. hmmmm maybe i should be Maltbyfan
MabusIncarnate 5,359 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Wow Maltby with 2 goals, who would've predicted that? One of the announcers on Detroit radio before the game picked Maltby to be the player of the game.. he hesitated for like ten seconds before he said it, and the dudes before him picked Pavel, Henrik, and Homer. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 He has great hearing I can be very persuasive, except in trying to convert Hasek-haters. I want a third period that looks just like the last five minutes of the second. Purposeful play and pressure, Red Wings hockey. Love it.
redwingslady87 130 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Mr. Daniels, while you are still not funny, I agree with you. Lets put a few more on the board!!!! Next one is for zetts!!

And for anyone that cares, Boston just forced Game 7 against Cleveland, final score 12-2. Let me see if this will work for ya Edi. Please Hank score a goal in the 3rd/4rd. Nero 20 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Two goals for Zetterberg!... oh wait, they took that one away. Seriously, if the NHL moneybags are purposely enforcing bad officiating against the Red Wings then i definitely do not want to be watching. This is total BS. Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Ok, so Zetterberg's up to 10 assists so far, but he's still at only 6 goals . Lids has an assist on that last goal, so he's back on track points-wise. No points for Dats so far tonight, but at least Hudler's answered his critics and can get back to his superior offensive play he's known for when he's skating with confidence. Third period objectives: -at least 2 goals for Zetterberg -at least 2 helpers/goals for Dats -shore up the defence -some more inspired play from Hudles! datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I have faith that Kirk gets a hattrick tonight. that would be awesome!
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Malts with a trick, and Dats with a patented Datsyukian deke (no Vezina for you, Tellqvist!!) to put the icing on the cake, I say!
wingnut40 176 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) Thanks for listening guys. Let's see if this still works.... Please score and make it 3-2 before the end of the 2nd Wings. How'd you know?? So were gonna score 5 more in the 3rd right? We'll win because Jesus loves us! OMG, what if Maltby gets the Hat-Trick?11?!!! Oh, and what does it mean when they say "Snake Bitten"? Is it self explanatory like they were screwed over or does it mean something else? Tonight was the 1st time I've heard it. Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Plus Hank's streak stays alive. Happy dance! Yeah, but we need to make sure he keep sending him positive scoring energy! He's got a bunch of jerks nipping at his heals right now on the scoring list And I think Pavel needs our good vibes too- he's been playing fantastic since the start of the year but I'd like to see him get more of his confidence back so he's playing as well as he was at the end of last year and through the playoffs! In the game i'm seeing.. had it not been for Detroit's late goal, penalties would be 4-3 Phoenix. Hmmm.. and in the math that I learned.. that means MORE penalties on the Coyotes. I know, Hank will score loads this year. Maybe right now he's sharing the love so others can have good chances. As for Dats. Seems like he's passing a bit too much. He needs to take some more shots. Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Maltby's only hope for a hattie is gonna be in an empty netter. He's had a good game aside from the goals too. Just watch his skating out there and you see the hustle and effort when he's got or chasing the puck. But my heroes so far are the Ellis and Downey line. Toss Cleary on there and you've got a mini-Grind Line.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 That does not suddenly make the BS call on Holmstrom all better. i think the wings need plan on having to score one more goal than they usually do because one is bound to be called back. zetterberg needs to concentrate on at least a hattrick a game so that he'll actaully walk away with a goal on the stat sheet.
