Chicago putting a beatdown on the Leafs

im sure that this has been said before, but this lang would never have shown up in detroit. lang has found himself a perfect situation in chicago, hes been given a huge role as star/mentor for a couple of stellar rookies. This guy has a fragile ego, im talking european soccer player fragile, and he just can't function some where like detroit where he's playing 4th or 5th fiddle on offense. so there is no use in saying "crap, i wish we still had him", because it wouldnt have worked that way. i think we just be (relatively) happy for him, cuz at the end of the day, i he won't be getting in the way of our run to the cup

I've heard things about Lang's questionable work ethic, but never read or seen or heard anything about a fragile soccer style ego. Ever. Where are you getting this from?

Not to mention he was the 2nd line center here, that's not exactly 4th or 5th fiddle. It's not like he was a 4th line player.

Lang is playing about two more minutes per game and so far is benefitting from the ice time. As for the rest of his transformation, I think it's now that he's not wearing a Red Wings sweater people can actually stop bashing him for a second and get a more objective take on how he plays.
