Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 4rd, knob, Insert-Name-Here is lazy and he sucks, etc. That's not a bad idea. Damn it, Luongo. Stop stopping those pucks. And the greatest Red Wings of all time...Blueberry Muffin.

Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I think there should be a LGW legend for the newer people to help decode. I tried to do it months ago in my sig... but it got to be too much.

Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 they both suck Worse...but only because of the big 'VANCOUVER' over the logo. Otherwise, it would better a vote for 'better'. Must be better because now I can finally tell who we are playing against.. I would have been completely lost without seeing VANCOUVER above the logo.. lol I think they're pretty ugly as well. But I like it when team's use unique colors and designs that are original. At least you can tell who the team you're playing is. Sometimes, especially in the 90's, every uniform and team colors started looking the same. You'll always know it's Vancouver when you see those things, and I'm not sure if thats a good thing. edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Remember the little bird that landed on the ice during playoffs? "Little Wings, Big Heart." How symbolic. Still have my Bernie shirt from the playoffs. Wings are sitting back a bit too much on this lead here. It's gonna bite 'em in the ass if they don't get in gear. I agree that they are different look and good but I think a lot of the new road jerseys look way too similiar.. Btw I was just glad Detroit didnt go too old school with there new jerseys
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 You know what seems to make our "next game" promos different from other teams? We actually show the opposing team scoring on us and NOT just our guys scoring on them. I kind of like that for some reason.

RedWingedKitten 9 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Weve got lots of pressure on. Dats just beat two guys, Sammy had a GOOD shot, chelios had a good shot, and flip had a above average hit.

Can't for the life of me remember who was doing it though. Jebus, guys...keep it out of our zone! Yer makin' me nervous.

commadore183 103 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I never understood the knob one. I think it was before my time. Please Wings score and soon! It came about last year when Lidstrom was penalized for an illegal stick by Mick McGoo. Lids stick was whole, just missing a knob at the end of the handle, and, we all thought it was a stupid penalty, and it just snowballed from there Now, if I can only find out the significance of "Blueberry Muffin." Someone made mention during a thread where everyone was bitching and complaining something to the effect of: "Geez, guys, we could sign a blueberry muffin and you'd all still complain. You never know, it might be good!" Flip STILL can't buy a goal. Geez.

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 that's been an issue this season, young as it is... they'll figure it out. They're probably not used to actually GETTING rebounds off the goaltenders, which would explain things. Wow, what a flurry. Maltby's earning his paycheck out there.
