Someone made mention during a thread where everyone was bitching and complaining something to the effect of:

"Geez, guys, we could sign a blueberry muffin and you'd all still complain. You never know, it might be good!"

:P

 Ain't that the truth!

Nice move by Malts. Looks like a Wings PP coming up.

They're probably not used to actually GETTING rebounds off the goaltenders, which would explain things.

Wow, what a flurry. Maltby's earning his paycheck out there.

There has been a flurry of 4rd and 4th line players on the Wings. He better!

Playing good hockey though. Sounded like an impressive move.

Despite what's said on this board from time to time, Flip HAS looked good out there this season. He's just hitting a row of bad luck where he just can't bury the puck no matter what happens. It happened to Hull when he was going for #700...Flip will snap out of it.

Man, Malts must be watching D and Z. That was a sick nasty move.........too bad he doesnt have too great a shot, but nice move nonetheless

Like Ken and Mickey said, Malts is a guy who had 50 goals in a season in juniors...so he's GOT skill. We just don't see it as often in the NHL.

Wow, Vancouver are a bunch of boneheads.

Flip STILL can't buy a goal. Geez.

I love that one!

Yes PP Wings Score now please. The Nucks coach needs to shut his dropped jaw. Duh-too many men on the ice you can't argue tht onw.

The refs can count! Plus Homer wasn't by the goalie so they weren't distracted. :hehe:

I swear, you all will think I am crazy, but Hasek isn't getting all the SOG counted... he's made at least 3 stops this period, and the count is still 12. I don't understand...

I actually think you're right, loo. I distinctly remember at least three saves by Dom this period, a couple nice ones too. Not sure what they're doing to the stats sheet.

in these low shot total games, it explains a lot about Dom's stats. I promise he's getting credited with every other stop some games. Maybe there are different criteria for what constitutes a save, if you're Dom?

SAVE Hasek... he just saved the game right there... I saw it!

Luongo will be at least 2nd star in a losing effort... wanna bet?

Probably, just like...uhm...whoever it was in Phoenix. I forget who their tender is these days, I just remember that they waived Abby.
