Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Flip! I was starting to get excited there thinking he might break the drought, even if it was with the EN. 10 games and counting.
commadore183 103 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Mickey (responding to an on-ice profanity from the mics): "Well, happy birthday to you..." I missed that. Wonder if I can find any video/audio of that 3-2 Wings win. Stay safe you all.

Guest Agalloch Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Good game/win despite more poor reffing, but the play of Lidstrom tonight sure bothered me. I don't know if he's injured or not, but he played one of his worst games in a long time, especially on the PP. Everyone has to have a bad game eventually, I guess. Unless you watched a different game then me...i thought Lidstrom played quite well. I also thought Rafalski played quite strongly as well he's a really quick skater...Kronwall looked strong, Filpulla looked strong...everyone looked nice... I don't know, maybe we did watch different games. I agree, everyone you mentioned looked good, but Lidstrom wasn't his normal self. He still played better than most would, but he made a lot of mistakes tonight.
RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) A nice, solid game from the Wings. It has become habit to out-shoot a team like they did tonight, which is great, but it makes you wonder if Hasek will be able to get in any sort of rhythm. I guess that's a good problem to have, though. Tonight's Attendance: 17,015. Ho hum. Edited October 25, 2007 by RedWingsFanatic
