Funny Leafs print ad

Simple photoshop job. :sly:

Absolutely no way is that a photoshop job. I have never done one, but I would think if it is, it is the best photoshop job I have ever seen and most definately not simple.

I think the picture was set up that way for the specific purpose of the joke. Look at the reflections on the floor. Just far too difficult for a photoshop if you ask me....but then again, I'm lower than a rookie on that technology.

the class sign in the center of the bench makes the joke funnier. i doubt it's photoshopped.

If you look at the Snopes link, the photo was from a deliberate ad photo shoot done by the Leafs for their print ad. It wasn't Photoshopped.

This same picture has been used for any number of Ohio State-Michigan, Yankees-Red Sox jokes. I dont when it started, but this isnt the first it's been used.

I understand that the photo has been used by fans of various teams and passed around the Internet, but per Snopes the photo orginated with the Maple Leafs as part of a print ad campaign. For copyright purposes, they aren't likely going to risk plucking a photo that doesn't belong to them off the 'net and then use it in a commerical print ad. The print ad on the Snopes site shows the full vertical image that contains parts not present in the cropped versions that are passed around the Internet. Edited by Gizmo
