Well out favourite reject just won the game for Chicago by tieing it and the winning it in the last minute. I know i'm supposed to dislike chicago being a red wing fan but they're fun to watch this season and i kind of like them now. Whos gonna win rookie of the year Toews or Kane?

I always liked Williams, wasent disappointed when he left to Chicago, but man, he's got like 15 points or so already this season. Langers doing well too.

I have a feeling that when Lilja and Samuelson's contracts expire, there gonna sign on with Chicago and become superstars too :P.

I've come to the conclusion that playing in a market where the fans actually care about the team was too much for guys like Williams and Lang, which is why their doing so well in Chicago.

It mystifies me to see how bad Sergei Samsonov is doing, though. I thought he'd do great in a no-pressure market like Chicago. His career has really gone in the toilet since signing with Montreal.

I managed to see this game today and it was a beauty. First let me say I can’t believe how good Jonathan Toews is; he’s an absolute freak! Jordan Staal might have the runs on the board but I think Toews will end up the best player taken from the 2006 Draft. I really like him and he’s a pleasure to watch.

Patrick Kane I also like. His puck handling skills are phenomenal and it’s no wonder he was taken 1st overall. Another great game from him tonight.

As for Williams, he played very well. He was robbed by Turco in the second period which as it turns out would’ve given him the hattrick. His first goal was due to a beautiful pass by Lang and his second was clutch but the goalie really should’ve had it.

Or rather...Williams and Lang were two of the worst forwards when it came to working in their end. Its no surprise that on Chicago, a team that averages 3 goals against a game, a team that since Savard took over placed a heavy emphasis on scoring, theyre doing well. The Red Wings required a dedication to backchecking, not floating or waiting around for the opportunity to rack up the points. Savard is playing to his teams strengths, as any coach should, and hes getting his wins by letting the potent offense do their thing.

Teows is a gun for sure but Kane will get the Calder without a doubt. Unless he misses the rest of the season from here due to injury, it's his to lose.

Off the topic but, did anyone watch the World Juniors last year when Canada won the final and they were interviewing Teows (I think he was the captain, not sure) and he dropped the f-bomb accidentally. f*** that was funny.

Yeah the clip is on youtube somewhere. Wasn't too funny for me, made me cringe a little to be honest. Its always awkward when children swear and try to be cool.

Well aren't you just a barrel of laughs. If it makes you feel any better he didn't mean to do it.
