Anyway, this is getting awfully redundant. The Wings played a very solid game, Osgood was great, Zetterberg is amazing, Chris Chelios is old, etc. etc. I will gladly take this sort of redundancy, however.

This is the kind of redundancy I can get behind :D

well some one needs to slow down detroit cuz people in my fantasy league with Det. players are killing me... haha JK wouldn't mind to see the wings win some more games in a row. Iam not a wing hater. (well when they are not against the flames or ducks :P )

Sheesh! They talked about leaving it all on the ice tonight with the five day layoff coming up, but I didn't realize they meant in the second period.

Way to come back with the PP goal. And everyone see Homer go down to block a shot with 2:30 left in a 4-1 game? Ozzie played tonight like Kipper usually plays against us. Good stuff!

What the hell...?

I'm wondering...should we have Ozzie start on all our West Coast/Western Canada road trips from now on? That'll split up the games between he and Dom pretty well. :P

I can't believe the Red Wings swept in Western Canada. First time they've done that since Calgary joined the league, right? I think that's what they just said.

Here's one thing I'm happy to say I'm noticing the Wings doing more often, something that was sorely lacking in previous seasons: Chipping the puck out of the defensive zone when they get in trouble. Prior to this year, they would maddeningly insist on trying to maintain puck possession and wind up turning it over or taking a ton of physical abuse from the forechecking forwards. So much smarter to change things up when necessary. I know I'm a broken record about this, but being flexible and being able to adapt the playing style needed against a specific team or game situation is really important. This team seems capable of doing that.

Chris Osgood is really, really impressing me.

Christopher John Osgood is AMAZING!

7 & 0 BABY!!!

You can tell how happy he was when they were interviewing him after the game. It looked like he wanted to break out a huge smile, but instead just kept it to himself. Damn is he on FIRE!! And how bout being on the unbeaten streak list now twice since 1989. One for a 20 game unbeaten streak, and now for an 18 game unbeaten streak. He's up there more than any other goalie. I am so damn happy right now. ATTA BOY OZZIE!! Always had faith in you, and always will.

Btw, Hank is freaking phenomenal. Same goes for all our boys. They owned tonight. Swept the Western Canada trip, and went 3 & 1 on the West Coast trip. Can you say HOT DAMN? lol

EDIT: 3 Stars of the game:

1. Ozzie!!

2. Hank!!

3. Nolan
